Woodpile Ranch is a family-owned and operated ranch dedicated to traditional small-farm practices, holistic sustainable animal husbandry, responsible land stewardship, and soil conservation..
The main business of Woodpile is raising and selling Black Angus breeding stock - and we also pasture raise chickens, guinea fowl, and eggs. All of our livestock is free to roam. No hormones or unnecessary antibiotics are used. All livestock eat from pastures that are free of pesticides, herbicides, and synthetic fertilizers.

James and Dolores started their journey together in 1967, renovating swimming pools with their revolutionary PIP (Pool In a Pool) fiberglass liner. Learn more here.
They semi-retired in 1986, becoming full time ranchers and limiting their fiberglass manufacturing activities. Cattle Business magazine wrote a feature article about the ranch in 2004. Read it here.
In 2005 they were names Progressive Breeder of the Year by the Mississippi Angus Association.
Onika is a senior consultant who has worked throughout North America, Europe, and India. She now focuses on IT project management. Read more here.
